The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong made public declaration to quit politics. This announcement brought shock to his followers and well wishers.
So when one asks what next for the MP after exiting as a parliamentarian?
“I will not be an MP but once a politician, always a politician” he said. He again outlined some of the things he will be interested and venturing in. Already he is a business man and has many businesses but what he seeks to do will be with empowering Ghanaians to handle things their own way.
“My next move is to empower Ghanaians and also venture strictly into tourism because I strongly believe the capabilities of tourism. Tourism will go a long way to help stabilize the economy and I dare the government to put in a little effort in tourism and the returns will surpass all other income-earning businesses for the country”.
The parliamentarian is already into tourism and he has been making arrangements to channel resources there.
Tourism is the third largest source of income for the country and hopefully this idea will shoot it up to be the first major source of income for the country if only the government will take heed.
